Forming his own companies, Big cat records and Bedlam Artist<strong> <\/strong>Management his first success in 1989 was EMF, other acts included Jeff Buckley.<br \/>\nIn 1997 he moved into the &#8216;Classical&#8217; arena and produced the music programme for Princess Diana\u2019s Funeral Service. He now manages New Zealand soprano Hayley Westenra, violinist Nicola Benedetti, and pianist Lang Lang, and has produced top several selling albums. In 2007 he featured as a judge on BBC2&#8217;s &#8216;Classical Star&#8217; and with Goldie on another BBC feature.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Steve Spon&#8230;.\u00a0\u00a0 Guitar &amp; Keyboards &#8211; current member<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/spon02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-203 alignleft\" alt=\"spon02\" src=\"http:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/spon02.jpg\" width=\"171\" height=\"215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/spon02.jpg 171w, https:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/spon02-119x150.jpg 119w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 171px) 100vw, 171px\" \/><\/a><strong>Steve Spon<\/strong><br \/>\nAfter the demise of IN Excelsis in 1985 Spon moved into music production and live sound. In 1990 he formed a band again, &#8216;Techno with guitars&#8217;-Big Eye with G.R.Stronach and D.Smith from Click Click. In 1997 he released his first major solo project, &#8216;Earthlights&#8217; under the monica of Nostramus. As well as using Steve\u2019s old drum kit, Ray was actually taught by the late great man himself to play some of the famous DK licks.<br \/>\nIn the mid 80\u2019s Ray drummed for legendary Luton post punk band, the Party Girls. Later he played for The Bright Four. He also made a brief appearance on bass for a UK Decay\u00a0 &#8216;cameo come-back&#8217; the band played one song &#8216;For My Country&#8217; at the 2007 UK Decay Communities reunion.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Lorraine &#8216;Lol&#8217; Turvey&#8230;\u00a0\u00a0 Bass Guitar<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/lol.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-210\" alt=\"lol\" src=\"http:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/lol.jpg\" width=\"171\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/lol.jpg 171w, https:\/\/uk-decay.co.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/lol-108x150.jpg 108w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 171px) 100vw, 171px\" \/><\/a>January 1981 -March 1981<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lorraine &#8216;LOL&#8217; Turvey<\/strong><br \/>\nLol returned to The Statics after her breif encounter with UK Decay in 1981. It is rumored with some substance that she later played with the Stranglers, although this needs to be verified. They hailed from Hayward, near San Francisco and soon established themselves as one of the leading forces of the Bay Area early HC Thrash scene. Justin \u201cJustinhio\u201d Saban thankfully came to the rescue!<\/p>\n<p>An accomplished guitarist and known to many in the home counties area as a producer recording engineer, Justin brings textures and energy to the UK Decay sound.
